What are Cooling Rooms? Uses, Temperature range etc

A cooling room is a refrigerated area, where we maintain some certain temperatures or range of temperatures. The purpose of cooling rooms is to store items which are easily degradable or sensitive to temperature like meat, fish, or medical items like vaccines etc. Cooling rooms can be designed in various sizes; they can be the size of small walk-in rooms and also big like warehouses.

Uses of Cooling Rooms:

Cooling rooms are needed in many fields like food related industries, medical field etc, their function to provide continuous, strong refrigeration. Foods and medical items stay protected in such environment and last longer. Hence, you can stay calm and relax about the condition of the items for a long period of time.

Other Benefits of Using cooling rooms:

Efficiency of energy: The cooling rooms help in lowering the cost of energy for the storage of stuff and items. Because the cooling rooms can maintain a certain temperature in consistent way, less energy is required in maintenance of balance in temperature and no fluctuations at all. This works in every industry.

High Quality of Products: It is guaranteed that the items like vaccines, drugs etc will stay potent for a very long time in cooling rooms. So this will enhance the reputation of your company and you increase your goodwill in the market.

Provide Safety And Security: Cooling rooms keep the all your highly sensitive and costly medical stuff totally safe and protected as it comes with lock system. They can also be used when you have to transfer some sensitive stuff to the different place.

This is how a Cooling Room functions:

Cooling rooms like a any other refrigerated system requires, fans, compressor and evaporator to keep the temperature continuous in the chamber. After the gas which is used as the refrigerant gets compressed it enlarges, and the energy is absorbed by it. This hot gas then will travel to the evaporator coils from the compressor and after turning into the liquid state, this makes the evaporator coils cools down and also the air in the surrounding area. To keep the temperature stable make sure that the cooling rooms is protected properly.

Temperature range of Cooling Rooms:

Most of the cooling rooms are available those with the temperature range of -2°C and 10°C. But certain cooling rooms can provide significantly low temperature range like-50°C to -80°C.

What are the types of laboratory benches?

Laboratory benches are essential equipment in any laboratory. They provide a sturdy and stable surface for conducting experiments, analyzing samples, and carrying out other laboratory activities. There are several types of laboratory benches, each designed to suit different laboratory needs. Some of the common types of laboratory benches include: Standard laboratory bench: This is the most basic type of laboratory bench. It is a simple, flat work surface that can accommodate a wide range of laboratory activities. Adjustable laboratory bench: This type of bench allows the user to adjust the height of the work surface to suit their needs. It is particularly useful for tasks that require a specific working height. Chemical resistant laboratory bench: This type of bench is designed to resist chemical spills and other corrosive substances. It is typically made of materials such as epoxy resin or stainless steel. Fume hood laboratory bench: A fume hood laboratory bench is designed ...

What is a Cleanroom and Why Do You Need One

A cleanroom is a controlled environment that is specially designed to have extremely low levels of airborne particles such as dust, microbes, and contaminants. It is used in various industries, including manufacturing, research, and development, where maintaining a high level of cleanliness is critical for the production of sensitive products, precise measurements, or scientific experiments. Cleanrooms are essential in fields like semiconductor manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, aerospace, and healthcare, among others. The primary purposes of a cleanroom are: 1.Contamination Control:  Cleanrooms are designed to minimize the presence of particles that could negatively impact the quality of products or experimental results. Even tiny particles can cause defects in microelectronics or compromise the efficacy of pharmaceuticals, for example. 2.Quality Assurance:  In industries where even small variations can have a significant impact on the final product, cleanr...
